MARKET PULSE

How it works

  1. 01

    Get an account

Accounts are created by the administrator, who gives you a temporary password. Sign in with it and choose your own password; no broker is connected.

  2. 02

    Build a strategy

In the builder, pick a segment and symbol, then add entry and exit rules from indicators (price, SMA, EMA, RSI, VWAP, Supertrend) and comparisons (crosses above, crosses below, greater or less than). Add one to four legs and optional stop, target and square-off time.

  3. 03

    Validate and save

Validate checks every field on the server and points at the exact rule or leg that needs fixing. Save keeps the strategy private until you publish it.

  4. 04

    Deploy on paper

Deploy any of your strategies, a published community strategy, or a Market Pulse paper strategy. Deployments are recorded now; the runner that trades them on paper arrives in phase 2.

Questions

Does Market Pulse place real orders?

No. Every deployment is paper only, and the database rejects anything else.

Where do the numbers come from?

Index levels come from recorded exchange index data (NSE indices and BSE's SENSEX), with the source shown beside each one. Paper results come from the daily paper-trade ledger of each strategy. Nothing on the site is typed in by hand.

Why do some figures show a dash?

A dash means the value does not exist yet or could not be read just now. We show the gap instead of filling it with an estimate.

Why is there no annual return or CAGR?

Paper history is only days long. A yearly figure computed from a few days would be noise presented as a result, so we show the record as it is.
